Gemma's Newborn Session

Newborn sessions are so precious, I get to experience through my sessions those first moments with a new baby. I know everything is overwhelming and it happens so fast after you had your baby, but what’s really fast is this time when they are little. Trust me, it feels like yesterday my high schooler was only 5.13 lbs. So, Newborn Photoshoot is one thing you don’t want to miss!

The session usually starts with Family Pictures, so after baby is dressed or wrapped, I photograph mom with baby, dad with the baby and then Family together. Look at the comfort mom arms offer to the baby, almost always baby will sleep in mommy’s arms, I don’t have to worry about soothing here, just few adjustments and we have picture perfect!

An open eye was necessary to make sure I get this gorgeous pose with daddy!

And of course the connection between 3 of them is what this picture will make them cherish for many years to come!

After Family poses, baby might want to have a little “snack”, that’s when we might need a feeding/changing break or we might not. Baby usually leads the session, so everything that is needed for the baby to feel comfortable and happy is my main priority.

And then, I will have mom and dad relax and watch me posing their precious baby in some of the cutest tiniest props.

Baby Gemma was such a great model, she cooperated through all my session and she was happy with all my outfits and props.

This Newborn Photoshoot was such a great experience, I enjoy so much watching the parents’ love spread across my tiny studio to their new precious baby girl. With every session, I am hoping to deliver this love through my images to others to see and admire. Welcome to the World baby Gemma!

Amalia’s cake smash session

I can’t put into words how cute this baby girl is! Amalia was turning One and her mom contacted me with her vision about this session, she sent me a picture of Amalia’s outfits and her cake that she was going to order. So, I immediately thought of the colors that I can blend together to make sure baby Amalia will pop through. Balloons, fairy lights and props will be added to all my cake smash sessions depends of your preferences and requests.

The session starts with portraits in my vision, but literally with warm up time and get to know each other. This is basically the time I take to make sure I earn your baby’s trust, so momma can actually be within 4-5 feet from the baby, but close enough to cuddle as soon as baby asks for.

Then, after we have enough pictures of her cuteness, we can bring the cake out and let the baby explore it. Many babies do not like the texture of the cake, probably 90% of them, so don’t be afraid to introduce this texture a bit before the session, that way baby won’t be afraid to touch it again. Of course we will not push, we will try to give a bite to make sure it’s something she would be interested in, but again we are not pushing baby to eat the cake.

And either baby smash it or just posing cute next to it, I offer a fun bubble bath at the end to clean up sticky cheeks or just to splash!

Here is the rest of this precious gallery, an absolute fun and memorable experience for baby, momma and myself as a photographer!
